Squeezing in quality time with your kiddos can be difficult with your hectic schedule. Having a weekly schedule of activities can make things easier on you and your little one will be excited for each day’s special activity! Here are just a few suggestions for some fun activities.
Mondays: Make crafts for the house or for future fun activities!
1. Make a zoo passport! This will help you and your children keep up with all the animals that you two see. You can also teach your child specifics about his or her favorite animals. Check out the blog, WeWilsons, for designs and instructions!
2. Make a fort with your adventurer. You can read books and play board games in hiding with your little one!

3. Teach your child to tie their shoes with this super cute craft, the shoe lace tying board. The blog, OneCraftyPlace, has directions for creating this adorable template.
4. Have a movie themed dinner night! Use your children’s favorite Disney, Pixar or Nickelodeon movies to create entree and desserts. Your children will look forward to cartoon shaped dinners each week! Check out, TheCraftMonster, for inspiration for your special night!
Tuesdays: Pick a book that can teach your little one a lesson for that week!
1. Is your child having trouble understanding measurements? This book will teach your child measurements in a fun and easy way!
How Long or How Wide?: A Measuring Guide (Math Is CATegorical ®)
2. Manners are important, and as we know, sometimes children have absolutely no filter. Use this book as a tool to teach your kiddo that they should think before they say something aloud because it could really hurt someone else’s feelings.
3. Colors are especially fascinating to kids. Help your little one learn about the colors of the rainbow with this sweet story.
4. Learning how to count can be challenging for kiddos. Sometimes they skip numbers or rearrange them. Read them this story to show that counting can be unique and exciting!
Wednesdays: Make your kiddo a special treat or let them help you make a few treats!
1. Make your kiddo’s lunch based off of their favorite video game! They’ll love the creativity and have a blast eating!

4. Cookies are the perfect treat to make with your little one! Have your sidekick help with measuring and pouring and of course sprinkle duty! Get the yummy recipe on the blog, JuliasAlbum!
Thursdays: Use this day to be thoughtful. Show your child the greatness in volunteering or how much you care about them with nice gestures and sweet reminders.
1. Put a “Just thinking of you letter” in your child’s lunch box. Sign it with your special signature and leave them an extra sweet treat!

Have your child show some thoughtfulness as well!
3. Have your little one take extra food, such as fresh fruit, to a nursing home. This will teach them to want to be givers instead just being takers.
4. Is your child outgrowing their toys? Help your child sort through old toys to give away to a charity. If they do a great job, maybe throw in a new, special toy that your child has had their eye on! Remember, you can always save them for the next JBF Sale in your area.
Fridays: Plan fun, adventuring activities with your children!
1. Go to the zoo and use your new zoo passport while you’re there!
